As a sound engineer I've had the priviledge to work with some great artists and in some unusual and challenging places, from pubs to concert halls, from greenhouses to arboretums and from hospitals to art galleries.

    I cover the majority of this arts centre's non-mainstream shows as house engineer. Working in their cellar bar, recital room and their well equipped 300 seat theatre. Recent artists I've worked with have included Polar Bear, John Otway and Cibelle.

    As well as being OCM's production manager I also cover their small scale events as sound engineer. I've mixed Japanese Kotos in arboretums, African Koras in hospitals and everything from Estonian folk to electronica.

    Augmenting my role as stage manager, since 2008 I have also covered sound for some of the venues I manage, including early music and folk trio Horses Brawl (recorded for BBC Radio 3) and Theremin virtuoso Pameila Kirsten.

    For this Oxford-based roots music promoter I provided systems and engineered several of their shows in 2008, covering music from Arabia, Andalusia, Senegal and Scotland.

    During 2008 I engineered and supplemented the house rig in this 1000 capacity coverted cinema for several shows inculding their jazz series (Finn Peters, Gwilym Simcock etc.) and the aftershow party for the Cowley Road Carnival.
